ALIMCO SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR DIVYANGS
The Prime Minister Divyasha Vayoshri Center, operated by ALIMCO at Tantia University, organized an assistive devices distribution program on Friday for specially-abled individuals and senior citizens. During the event, 21 beneficiaries received various assistive devices, including 10 battery-operated tricycles, 3 wheelchairs, 4 crutches, and 4 hand-operated tricycles, along with other supportive equipment.
The devices were distributed by Collector Dr. Amit Yadav, University Vice Chairperson Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M.M. Saxena, and Deputy Director of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Virendra Pal Singh. Examination Controller Dr. Rajendra Godara shared that, with ALIMCO’s support, similar assistance will also be provided to eligible beneficiaries in Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh districts.
The event also featured cultural performances by children from a Divyang Ashram. Social worker Dr. Shiv Kataria addressed the audience with an inspiring message on positive thinking. The program was hosted by Rajkumar Jain and attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Madhav Prasad Nayak, Manohar Singh Sisodia, Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma, Dr. Vikas Sachdeva, and Rakesh Verma.
