A National Workshop on cyber crime was organized by the Faculty of Law, Tantia University to raise awareness about the rapidly growing threat of cyber crime, which was compared to the global spread of COVID-19.

The event featured Manoj Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Delhi Police and a cyber crime expert, as the chief speaker.

Manoj Kumar emphasized that cyber crime has expanded worldwide at an alarming rate and highlighted that caution and awareness are the most effective ways to prevent it. He explained common cyber threats such as online fraud, hacking, fake social media accounts, phishing, and financial scams, stressing the importance of staying vigilant while using the internet.

The workshop was conducted under the initiative of Dr. Mohit Tantia, who played a key role in organizing the program and promoting cyber awareness. Experts discussed preventive measures, safe internet practices, and the need for timely reporting of cyber incidents.

Participants were educated on how cyber criminals operate and how individuals can protect their personal and financial information. The session also encouraged increased public awareness and continuous education to combat cyber threats effectively.

The event saw active participation from faculty members, students, and cyber security professionals, making it a significant step toward building digital safety awareness.
