Rajasthan Day Celebrations

The Rajasthan Day celebrations, Tantia University came to a lively and heartfelt close on Thursday, Faculty of Agriculture. The event, organized as part of the state government’s initiative, brought together students and faculty in a vibrant display of culture, enthusiasm, and pride for Rajasthan.
The program began on a traditional note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Executive Director Dr. K.S. Sukhdev, along with Director (Research & Academics) Dr. Praveen Sharma and Deputy Registrar Rakesh Verma. Their presence set a positive and inspiring tone for the event.
Welcoming everyone, Acting Dean Dr. Satdev spoke about the importance of Rajasthan—its rich heritage, strong traditions, and the spirit that binds its people together
In his address, Dr. Praveen Sharma praised the continuous innovation happening within the Faculty of Agriculture. He shared that the college has earned a strong reputation across the region, thanks to the dedication of both students and faculty members.
Adding a thoughtful touch, Dr. Krishnakumar Ashu spoke about the beauty of Rajasthani culture and language. He expressed it simply yet powerfully—while Rajasthan may face water scarcity, it is filled with warmth, hospitality, and heartfelt connections.
The cultural segment brought energy to the event, with a graceful dance performance by Meenakshi, an M.Sc. second-year student, winning appreciation from everyone present. A fun Rajasthan-themed quiz also kept the audience engaged, where Kalpana secured first place, followed by Sukhdeep Kaur in second and Ashish in third.
Faculty members Dr. Jitendra Singh Ranawat and Dr. Dropati Saran also shared their thoughts, reflecting on the significance of Rajasthan Day and its cultural values.
He event concluded on a note of gratitude, with a vote of thanks by Anisha, a B.Sc. second-year student. The program was smoothly hosted by Dr. Naresh Kumar Yadav and Dr. Mukhram.
Several faculty members and participants, including Simran Singh Gill, Dr. Alka, Dr. Vikram, Suman, Renuka, Lovepreet, Arun Kumar, Sumit Yogi, Tarsem Singh, Vijendra, and Gulshan Pradeep, were also present, making the event even more special.
