CHARAK JAYANTI MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION
Sri Ganganagar College of Ayurvedic Science & Hospital joyfully celebrated the Charak Jayanti Mahotsav from July 25 to July 29, 2025, in honour of the birth anniversary (Janam Jayanti) of Maharshi Charaka, a legendary figure in Ayurveda. Organized by the Department of Samhita Siddhant and Sanskrit, the event commemorated the Panchami of the Shravan month with enthusiasm and reverence. Key faculty members including Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Deepak, and Dr. Narvinder played significant roles in orchestrating the festivities. The entire faculty and student body actively participated in a series of thoughtfully curated events, which included a Poster Competition (July 25), Samhita Path and Shloka Udgharan (July 26), Plantation Program (July 26), Quiz Competition (July 28), and the concluding Charak Pujan, Charak Shapath, and Ayurveda Awareness Rally on July 29. The week-long celebration served as a vibrant platform to deepen the understanding of Ayurvedic principles and to uphold the legacy of Maharshi Charaka, successfully inspiring both students and faculty.
