WORLD VETERINARY DAY CELEBRATION
On the occasion of World Veterinary Day, various programs were organized at Sri Ganganagar Veterinary College. As part of the celebrations, students were educated about the importance of veterinary science, and a vaccination and medical camp was held, benefiting many livestock owners. Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Dr. R.P.S. Baghel, shared that on this day, all professors emphasized the significance of being a veterinary graduate during their classes. They highlighted how animals play a vital role in human life and stressed the importance of ensuring their health and well-being. Representatives from some pharmaceutical companies also attended the event. They distributed their products along with refreshments. A special vaccination and medical camp for pets such as dogs and cats was held at the colleges veterinary clinic, where several animals received treatment and necessary vaccinations. Many livestock owners registered at the camp and will receive free consultations throughout the year.
