SUNFLOWER PROJECT AT TANTIA UNIVERSITY GETS RECOGNITION
The Faculty of Agriculture at Tantia University recently hosted a visit to its successful Sunflower Project by several eminent guests. The visit was led by Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chairperson, Tantia University, who praised the initiative for combining academic excellence with practical farming solutions.
Dr. H.P. Meena, Senior Scientist from ICAR IIOR, Hyderabad, commended the scientific approach and encouraged ongoing student research in oilseed crops. Dr. U.S. Shekhawat, Dean of Agriculture, highlighted advanced techniques in seed trials and pest management. Mr. Rakesh Verma, Deputy Director, appreciated the project's role in promoting edible oil self reliance.
Project In Charge Dr. J.S. Ranawat, Assistant Professor, showcased field demonstrations and biofertilizer use, emphasizing student involvement and research innovation.
